Sharon Hamilton Joins Ascent AeroSystems as Head of Quality and Compliance

Amplified focus on international trade compliance will position Ascent as a small UAS/UAV supplier of choice for U.S. government and foreign military customers

Wilmington, MA – September 5, 2024Ascent AeroSystems, the world’s leading manufacturer of compact, high-performance coaxial unmanned aerial vehicle drone systems, today announces the appointment of Sharon Hamilton to the position of Director of Compliance and Quality. In her new role, Hamilton will lead the company’s regulatory and trade compliance, process quality, and corporate governance functions.

Hamilton joins Ascent with more than two decades of international trade management, regulatory compliance, and operational expertise gained with some of the world’s most well-respected aerospace and defense organizations. A recognized expert in business transformation, she will ensure that Ascent products achieve and retain compliance with evolving regulations around the world.
